I keep seeing people drawing their Pokémon as humans (or 'gijinka', which is apparently the ' proper' term. It just means anthropomorphism applied to non-human creatures and items.).

So I gave it a try on my Pearl team. I'm really happy with how it came out- it was a bit tricky getting all the Pokémon features to look right, but it was still pretty fun. I took the colours from each Pokémon's sprite, which is why they're so bright

From top left to right, they are-

~Cobalt, a Luxray. His glasses are x-ray specs, since apparently Luxray has x-ray vision. I wish I did. I really like how he came out.

~Vyck, a Weavile. She's some kind of badass ninja, I think. Maybe she's just pissed cus she's the only girl on the team. Though, it's more likely she's upset she's named Vic, the decongestant. See, she was a Sneasel, which sounds like 'sneeze' and you put Vic up your nose... It makes sense to me

~Tux, an Empoleon. His nose is supposed to be beak-like, but I'm pretty sure I overdid. I think he looks like a used car salesman. His hair is pretty neat, though.

On the bottom row, left to right-

~Dash, a Rapidash. He was an absolute BITCH to dress because Rapidash just doesn't have any remarkable bodily features, bar the fact that it's a horse on fire. I tried to make it look like he's in a running shirt and his hair looks fiery, instead.

~Zerus, a Roserade. I named him after one of ~Laurenza's shadow-tree-demon characters. I think he looks a little bit like Tuxedo Mask and Zorro's lovechild. I was going to draw him blowing a kiss, but looking smarmy did the job just as well

~Floon, a Drifblim. I want to pet his hair, it looks fluffy. Actually, he looks kind of huggable full stop, I think
