..or spheres of influence when it comes to Magick, at least. There's probably more, but these were the main ones I could think of. Please Full view! There are more bottles in the full view!
So I got bored earlier and created these. Finally a Non-Gift-Art update!
I was inspired by various potions and bottles people have in their shops on the doll forum, Eden Enchanted, so I made some of my own. I guess I was also partly inspired by all these RPGs and animes where there is elemental magick too, and partly by the Candybar dollmaker, at least for all the sparkles ^_^
Each bottle contains Elemental Magick in a liquid or powdered form. I tried to make the jar's shape fit the element. The best example for that is the Water Element, I think.
They are, from left to right:
~Air Elixir- Those feathers are so cute
~Darkness Dram- I like this one. It actually started out as Thunder, but I changed it. Love those swirls.
~Earth Powder- Those grey things are supposed to be rocks. It comes in a sandy powder form.
~Fire Cialis- The first one I made. I love that little flame. I bet the bottle is hot.
~Ice Philter- I like the colour of this one. It looks cold!
~Light Tonic- Personally, I think this one is boring, but the sparkles are nice.
~Metal Brew- there's two for metal, a silver and a gold. Couldn't decide which to do. Yes, the name is a play on words
~Pyschic Catholicon- Yes, that's liquidised mental energy. No, I don't know how this would work either.
~Thunder Cordial- I think this one is very cool. The lightning came out like I draw it!
~Time Talc- I like this one. It would be powder, and the jar looks like an eggtimer ^_^
~Water Cure- Another dull one. I like the jar shape though. Looks like a teardrop.
~Wood Juice- Like the green. Those leaves are cool.
For the names of them, I just played with the word 'potion' in Thesaurus.com. I think I had a little too much fun with those!
No bases for the jars. Time was about four hours for the lot, I think. MsPaint for the lot and Photoshop for gifing.
One more Element than DSK. (Well, if you use my table o' Elements, that is. Anthony's got about eleventy-twelve of them.) Anyways, back in topic, 'renza. These are so cute. My personal fav is the ice one, the jar shape cracks me up for some reason. It looks like a short and dumpy jar that would get picked on by the other kids. ...Right, what have I been eating?

Aww, the ice IS short and dumpy. *gives it a hug and freezes *
Which is my extra element? *has a feeling it might be metal*
I'm glad you like, thanks ^_^

This newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and =Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. As of recent, the talented =Behana has joined us in bringing you this weekly newsletter and we are excited to have her on board. This is a special feature, with a selection of 50 manips from the past year that we loved.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
